Not bad for an old pot
We have an old nonstick heavy pot left over from my husband’s bachelor days. The nonstick finish has long been finished with it’s useful life, but the pot has found new life in the hands of our children. Many stews comprised of plastic food have been made in it, children have sat in it, it’s held many different stuffed animals, and most recently, it’s been our Magnetix container. Since it’s metal, not only does it hold the magnetics, it also makes a really wonderful play surface for them.

Magnetix are one of the few toys(along with Duplos!) that all four of my children still play with, despite their varying ages.

The youngest…

…and the oldest.

By the way, I apologize for the fact that you can no longer click on the pictures to enlarge them. WordPress changed something about the photo uploading progress(I really need to get Flickr going!) and ever since then, the photos are not clickable.

My nephew
He’s actually one of my two nephews…Tommy is 2.5 and his older brother is 4.
Here he is with my daughter Sonia. She’s 4.5…two years older than him, but you’d never know it. They’re exactly the same size.

He looks so angelic here.

And here’s a more normal Tommy face!

I don’t know what it is about my bathroom…
but for some reason, the light in there is really lovely for taking pictures, especially in the later afternoon.

Unfortunately, a bathroom is really not the most wonderful place to take pictures. Toilets and sinks and toilet paper rolls aren’t the best of backgrounds.
This one’s not as nice as the one above, but I think it’s kind of funny. This is Zoe when she’s had it with the picture-taking.

Sonia and her Best Girl.
Sonia really adores my mom, so much so that she calls her, “my best girl”. When she’s in trouble or sad, she often says(in a very pitiful voice), “Mommy, I reaaaally want my best girl!” Anyways, when I uploaded these pictures, I had to chuckle because it’s quite obvious that she’s trying to be just like her best girl. They’re not my best pictures(I was using my mom’s camera, and apparently, I can’t focus it very well!), but they’re cracking me up, especially the last one.
First she’s got her arms by her side…

…but that would be different than her best girl. Can’t have that!

There we go. That’s much better.
