This is the same niece that I photographed a while ago. She’s almost three months old now!
Sonia loves babies. And babies seem to return the favor…they smile at her and hug her and just respond really well to her. I think she will be a good babysitter one day. 
…what with the raw eggs in cookie/brownie dough/batter, but I guess we like to live life on the edge(ha!).

I really need to get a new blog design that allows for larger photos…this one just doesn’t look as nice in the small size. So, click on it.
You can say yes to all of your kids’ silly requests for pictures without worrying about using up film or paying for processing.
Tonight, for some unknown reason, Sonia wanted her picture taken with this little Christmas house. I didn’t have any particular need for a picture of this sort, and the light wasn’t very good, but I was able to oblige her and take the picture. I’d never have done that with film.
If you click on the picture to enlarge it, you can then fully appreciate how nice this picture is, considering that the light was dreadful. Yay for my new lens!
Miss Difficult-to-Photograph(Miss DTP from here on out) was ensconced in the chair originally…but then Sonia dumped her out(quite literally).
Not happy with this set of circumstances, Miss DTP returned tit for tat, and dumped Sonia out.
Sonia was not happy about this.
But Miss DTP was.

This one could definitely stand to be more focused(I took it the day I got my lens, and didn’t have it quite figured out yet), but I really like it. I think she looks like she’s in an ad or something! Well, maybe she would if Joshua wasn’t standing right next to her and there weren’t Christmas presents piled all around her.

She’s probably going to kill me for this post, because she usually thinks she looks dreadful and she hates every picture of herself, but I’m going to post these anyways.
First, a few of her pregnant self. I just snapped these really quickly while she was outside, but I’m planning to take some honest-to-goodness belly pictures of her before she delivers(which I’ve never done before, so that will be fun.)
And then a few head shots. Isn’t she just painful to look at?
